The enchanting Amalfi Coast: a complete travel guide

The enchanting Amalfi Coast: a complete travel guide
About Naples

08-10-2023

Located south of the beautiful city of Naples, right on the Sorrentine Peninsula, the Amalfi Coast is a part of the Mar Tirreno coastline and one of the most beautiful sites to visit. It’s so amazing that it was even listed as a UNESCO! Visiting the Amalfi coast is definitely worth it if you wish to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this place.

Let’s find out something more about the Amalfi Coast and why you should visit it!

ITS INFINITE BEAUTY

The Amalfi Coast looks just like a postcard thanks to its mixture of natural beauty and sophistication. The whole place is characterized by its duality: you can walk around and see someone passing in an expensive car and then turn around and see a farmer curating his land, luxurious hotels and locals sitting outside their buildings' doors chatting. It’s honestly a magical place just because of its population. If you add the beauty of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the breathtaking cliffs, you’ll realize there’s no other place like the Amalfi Coast!

THE BEST THINGS TO SEE

The Amalfi Coast extends for over 30 miles, going from Sorrento to Salerno. We highly suggest visiting this place in June or September, when it’s not so crowded as in July and August, but it’s still warm enough to do all the activities that you’re supposed to do here.

Here’s a list of some of the things we reckon you should do when visiting the Amalfi Coast:

  1. HIT THE BEACHES: it may seem obvious but relaxing at the beach is one of the best things you can do on the Amalfi Coast. Take a bath in the Tyrrhenian Sea and enjoy your well-deserved vacation!
  2. BOAT TOUR: If you want to get lost in the beauty of the Amalfi Coast, taking a boat tour is one of your best options! This guided tour will take you to explore breathtaking views and caves located in the clear Tyrrhenian sea water!
  3. GO TO THE DUOMO IN AMALFI: If you want to check out some architecture, visiting the Duomo of Ravello, also known as the Duomo in Amalfi, is definitely a must.
  4. TAKE A HIKE: If you’re feeling more athletic, try taking a Hike through the Sentiero degli Dei (Path of Gods). This 4-mile walk is one of the best ways to check out the amazing panorama that the Amalfi Coast offers.

CONCLUSION:

Visiting the Amalfi Coast will definitely make for a wonderful experience. If you want to get to know more about Sorrento, Naples, and Italy in general, check out our other blogs and book a private tour with us!
