Gladiator School in Rome

Every kid who visits Rome has their imagination captured by tales of the infamous Gladiators and the grusome battles that took place in the Colosseum! We offer you and your children the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take part in a real Gladiator training session in one of the best Gladiator schools in Rome! You will have an unforgettable time learning how gladiators lived, dressed and fought from a child-friendly private instructor!

During our Gladiator School you will enjoy a 2 hour private lesson on gladiatura, the Ancient combat discipline used by the Gladiators during their fights. The Gladiator School will be a private lesson, just for your group, with an English-speaking and fully-trained Gladiator instructor. The whole family can take the course together, or if you prefer to sit back, relax and watch your kids train, then parents can watch instead of participating! The Gladiator training will take place outside, just as the Gladiators would have done 2000 years ago. Please note, if it is raining the Gladiator School will take place as planned but indoors. During your gladiator school, you will dress up as a gladiator, putting on the traditional costumes that the gladiators would have once worn. An expert instructor, part of the Roman guild of Gladiators, will follow you personally.

During your Gladiator training, you will learn the thing that every kid wants to know- how Gladiators fought! Your instructor will show you the different combat techniques that Gladiator’s used during their hand-to-hand combats with other Gladiators and their fights with ferocious beasts like lions!

Book our Gladiator School and everyone will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience! During your visit to the Gladiator Museum you will learn how many types of gladiators there were, how they used to live, dress and what kind of weapons they used.

With this hands on experience, your kids will feel like a real Gladiator for the day!

At the end of the training, you will even receive a certificate of participation to show that you have completed the Gladiator training! Your kids will love showing this off to all their friends when you're back home!
