Tour description

If you are in Rome and you want to tour something different from the usual highlights, why not choose to take our Borghese Gallery tour for kids? Far from being a boring visit, our kid-friendly guides will make sure children have fun, whilst learning about the masterpieces by great Italian painters and sculptors. We will pre-purchase tickets to the Borghese Gallery for you, taking away all the stress from your visit.

During our Borghese Gallery for kids tour you will have a child-friendly private guide completely at your disposal for 2 hours. The entrance time inside the Borghese Gallery is every 2 hours, starting from 9:00 AM. You will be allowed inside the museum only for 2 hours, but this will be enough to make this tour the highlight of your trip!

Located amidst the beautiful scenery of the Borghese Gardens, one of the biggest parks in Rome, the Borghese Gallery is one of the most visited art collections in Rome. Walking through its rooms, adults and children will learn art and history admiring the beautiful paintings by Titian, Raphael, Caravaggio and Correggio. In the gallery there is also a section dedicated to sculpture, where you can admire statues and artworks by Bernini and Canova. Each piece of art will be used by your guide as a perfect chance to pass on to your kids all they know about Roman and Greek mythology, as well as the history of Rome during the Ancient and Modern times. The amazing collection developed by Cardinal Scipione Borghese inside the Gallery also includes beautiful Roman mosaics of Gladiators. Pointing at them, your guide will stimulate the kids’ imagination with stories about the gruesome past of Rome and fights between gladiators and wild beasts that took place inside the Colosseum.
