Join our Angels and Demons Tour and your private guide will take you to the most iconic monuments mentioned in Dan Brown’s book. Your literary adventure will begin in Popolo Square where you will enter the Church of St. Mary of the People where the Chigi Chapel is hosted. You will enter the Pantheon, Raphael’s burial place, and the setting of dramatic events in Dan Brown’s Angels and Demons. Your Angels and Demons tour will continue to the Church of St. Mary of the Victory, housing the stunning marble work by Bernini representing the Ecstasies of St. Therese of Avila.
You will then proceed to St. Peter’s Square, where St Peter’s Basilica is located and stop at the obelisk there. St Peter’s Basilica is the location of the thrilling finale of both the book and film of Angels and Demons. To complete the itinerary you will go to Navona Square where the Fountain of the Four Rivers by Bernini is located. Do you remember the Angels and Demons scene with the Cardinal in the fountain? This is where it was located! You will also have the chance to admire Castel Sant’Angelo from the outside with its famous Passetto, the secret passage used by the Popes in the ancient times.
