With our Best of Baroque Rome Small Group Tour, you will be in a group up to 12 people accompanied by a dedicated licensed guide. The limited number of participants will allow each of them to interact with their guide and make sure they can listen to their every word. Follow your guide and you will go back to the time of Baroque Rome, when the most important artists from all around Europe came here to work for the Popes. During this 2- hour pleasant walking tour you will visit beautiful churches with Renaissance masterpieces: there is one at every corner of the city! You will learn all about great Italian artists, such as Bernini, Caravaggio and Andrea Pozzo. Their personal and artistic stories, their rivalries and how they managed to turn around the image of Rome, creating the beautiful city we can still admire today.
The tour will begin from Navona Square, at Bernini’s Fountain of the Four Rivers. Your next stop will be the Church of St. Agostino, where you will be amazed by the beauty of Caravaggio’s and Raphael’s paintings.You will continue to the St Ignatius Church where you can admire the fake dome of Andrea Pozzo. On your walking tour along the picturesque roman streets you will pass by the Pantheon, once a pagan temple dating back to the 2nd century AD, now a Church and one of the most preserved artifacts in the city. Your guide will lead the group to Trevi Fountain, the famous fountain in Rome, set of different movies. The tour will end to the Spanish Steps, the impressive staircase dominated by the Trinità dei Monti Church at the top.

DRESS CODE: in order to enter religious sites, such as Churches, every participant must make sure they cover their shoulders and knees.
We also suggest you wear comfortable shoes, as a moderate amount of walking is involved in this tour.
