Family Cooking Class in Rome

There are two main itineraries for your Family Cooking Class in Rome…

Daytime 10:00-15:00

You will begin your private cooking course in Rome with a trip to the local market, accompanied by your chef. Here you will pick out the fresh ingredients you will be using to prepare the meal. You will enjoy a tour of the market where your chef will pick out some tastings for you of local specialties (and wine for adults!) Your kids will love learning about fresh Italian ingredients and the experience of shopping in a local food market!

You will then head to the house to begin cooking…You will prepare:

• 1 pasta dish
• 1 second course of meat
• 1 vegetable side
• 1 dessert.

Families with kids can choose to make potato gnocchi instead of the pasta dish- something the whole family will love! The dishes will be typical Roman dishes and you will learn all about the techniques involved in making these delicious specialties, in a fun, relaxed and hands-on way. At the end you will enjoy the efforts of all your hard work, having lunch together with your chef.

Evening 17:00- 22:00

Your lesson will begin with you learning to make:

• egg-pasta from scratch and then creating a wonderful pasta dish including the sauce and filling (for ravioli.)
• 1 meat second course
• 1 side dish.

After all the fun and hard work you will sit back and relax, enjoying an aperitif with a drink and snacks. You will then get to taste the fruits of your labor, sampling all the delicious dishes you have prepared together.
