Tour Description

Discover one of Italy's lesser known gems, the wild Cinque Terre, in the safe hands of a private driver and an enthusiastic, local private guide.

The so-called Cinque Terre (literally translated as Five Lands) are 5 beautiful and picturesque villages perched on the Italian Riviera. These gems nestled in outstanding natural settings overlook the sea in the Liguria region of Italy. The good news is that Cinque Terre is within easy reach of both Livorno and La Spezia. For all those who want to see something a little off the beaten track during their cruise stops in Italy, we have created our private Cinque Terre Shore Trip, leaving from either Livorno or La Spezia port as you require.

The five villages of Cinque Terre are Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. Our shore trip to Cinque Terre is a private cruise tour so you can pick and mix which villages you want to see or make little stops in each. You can also visit the striking nearby village of Portovenere. Cinque Terre, along with Portovenere, are UNESCO World Heritage sites. When you visit you will see why!

Cinque Terre is a little off the beaten track. There’s no need to worry with our Cinque Terre Shore trip as our English-speaking private driver will pick you up from Livorno or La Spezia Cruise Port. You will benefit from a luxury car or minivan with English-speaking private driver at your complete disposal throughout the full 9-hour shore trip to Cinque Terre.

Upon your arrival at Cinque Terre you can be joined by a licensed private guide. A local of the area they will be able to help you navigate between the villages and also recount all the history of the area. Did you know it was a favourite destination of poets such as Shelley and Byron - leading to its nickname - the Gulf of Poets. Weather permitting you can take a little shuttle bus to hop between the villages. If you are on a bit of a budget and prefer to explore the villages on your own once you’ve arrived at Cinque Terre that’s no problem, your English-speaking driver will coordinate with you to meet you when you’re finished and accompany you back to your port. Just let our booking staff know and they will give you a quote!

During your Cinque Terre shore trip you will have time to explore some of the five villages. Don’t forget to walk the romantic Path of Lovers between Rio Maggiore and Manarola, where you will enjoy a breathtaking view over the sea.
